This picture I took while Rio was running a fever. She has been a little cranky and irritable over the last few days. I took her temperature and it was 39'5 and I am getting more concerned that's why I took her to the hospital today. They gave her fluids through an I.V and her pediatrician told me that the reason of her fever was a mild strep throat and there has nothing to worry about, thank God. But she needs to take the entire course of the antibiotics for four days ...


I had a terrible bad experience four years ago when my eldest daughter had to be rushed to the nearest hospital in Imus Cavite because of fever and diarrhea. That time Kei was only three years old and sad to say it's our third and last visit to the Philippines =(, because of what happened it's hard to convince my husband to travel back again to Philippines. Anyway! Here's the story goes. Kei likes to play every morning in her inflatable pool, so probably the source of bacteria that caused her from getting sick was from the contaminated water. After I saw the symptoms like diarrhea, fever, abdominal crams and lack of energy.Without a second thought, we rushed her to the nearest hospital and I was so scared until now while writing this post I feel my tears run down on my face remembering how scared I was seeing my child so weak, it really broke my heart. Oh life...

I am so blessed that my children appreciate the simple things I do for them, like playing time together, watching movies, preparing their favorite foods and being the best friend they ever had. As a mother, I've learned that when it comes to building a close relationship with our kids is remembering the simple key word like BEING THERE for each other.

I wouldn't try to become the biggest fan of twilight lol but I really love the book so much and so do millions of people reading it, it's incredibly awesome you should read this books!! I already watched the movie but there is so much content in the book that the movie is missing, the film is amazing but obviously they didn't include all the little details from the book but it doesn't mean I don't like the movie at all.Actually Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart did a great job and I was able to appreciate the intensity of Bella and Edward's relationship much more watching the film.

Plot over view: Bella Swan moves from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her father in Forks, Washington to allow her mother to travel with her new husband, a minor league baseball player. After moving to Forks, Bella finds herself involuntarily drawn to a mysterious, handsome boy, Edward Cullen. She eventually learns that he is a member of a vampire family who drink animal blood rather than human. Edward and Bella fall in love, but James, a sadistic vampire from another coven, is drawn to drink Bella's blood. Edward and the other Cullens defend Bella. For today, my food trip Friday is healthy but cheap recipes. This morning I cooked shogayaki with misoshiru soup, mashed potatoes and fresh tomato for our side dish. I love preparing delicious wink! meals that provide the best possible nutrition for my family, I also cooked most of our meals from scratch grin!

I use the Eco-friendly shopping bags that I take it with me every time I go for shopping-grocery. I also carry a couple of recycle shopping bags to put the meat or other wet products. I know by simply using these "Eco friendly" shopping bags, I can make a big difference to the preservation of our planet. Imagine for one Eco Bag we're using we are avoiding tons of plastic bag dumped into landfill sites and rivers everyday. Have you ever heard that nowadays plastic's growth is more than us! We all know that we can't get rid of plastic bag completely but by reusing and recycling plastic bags might be the best way .

Mommy Moments- Sentimental moments

I am glad for this week's meme about sentimental moments here at Mommy Moments we all know that there are a lots of precious moments to share but I have to choose one to two precious moments we had.
This was during our Valentines day one of our sentimental moments here was seeing how proud my kids are making their first chocolate baked cookies for hubby. I think this is one of the best and priceless Valentines day present that hubby would have. I am so happy and proud, they did a great Job!!!





Kei received her first Art recognition award. I am so proud of her and her art work was recognize and posted in one of the establishments here in our city, very sentimental moments for us.

Another tag from my friend Willa of Smart Mommy.Thank you sis for this bag tag. I really enjoyed this one...

This is my bag everything I need are all there and this bag is big enough to fit all my goods in but not that huge that's why I really like this one. Hubby gave it to me as a surprised gift and he knows me when it comes of choosing the right purse. It's got to have enough compartments for my wallet, health insurance card, cell phone, keys and sunglasses. I always have this things on me "extra junk" like lip gloss, concealer , face powder, tissue paper , hair comb and hair ribbon. Notepad and pen for school meetings I also have this first aid kit too in my small white purse.

This are the simple rules:
1. Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you can't go into your closet and pull out your favorite purse! We want to know what you carried today or the last time you left the house.
2. List how much it cost. And this is not to judge. This is for entertainment purposes only. So spill it. And if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, we'd love to hear it.

Ramen and Gyouza

This is one of my favorite food here in Japan. Since hubby and my kids are always in the mood for ramen and it makes us hungry just thinking of it har!!.So we went at Miyako ichi ramen house, this ramen is so delicious you can see that it has eggs and meat and other good stuff in it yummy!!! You will definitely love the taste . . There are lots of ramen restaurant here in our city but we are totally in love with this place, with relaxing atmosphere and delicious ramen.

what's going on?

Currently I'm using fire fox Mozilla when I'm surfing the net and updating my blog. I thought my layout looks fine until my cousin informed me that something has been missing here in my page. I got really confused because when I checked this page it looks exactly the same, like it is meant to be! We're using different browser and I think it's possible that it is simply the difference between the two browsers. Firefox and Internet Explore render web pages in different ways, this means that the same web page can be seen differently depending on which browser one uses. I checked my blog using the IE browser and I think that IE really hates me!!! Because my blogs menu bar is really missing!!!

There are countless local festival here in Japan almost every shrine celebrates one of its own. And today here in Kofu city we are celebrating Shingenko Festival. This festival occurs every year to honor Takeda Shingen the famous samurai warier. This festival starts around 5 pm at Maizuru castle.
